About Me:

Some people call me John Hansen.

I’m the author of The Perfect Game (short story), its prequel, The Games Begin (novella), and also Man’s Best Friend (short story), which is forthcoming from Untreed Reads Publishing. My work appears in the lit mags “Raphael’s Village” and “Crack The Spine” and in the Dark Light anthology published by Crushing Hearts & Black Butterfly Publishing.

I’m an avid reader, writer and blogger among other things. I have a very interesting, unpredictable (sometimes good, sometimes bad), creative, disturbing, random, insightful and humorous mind. You can find me at home, cursing at whatever trivial concern dares vex me, mainly writer’s block. Or sometimes you can find me on my couch, after giving up on my writing, staring at the blank TV screen as if it is some magical, awe-inspiring promise land. But in most cases, it isn’t.

At the moment, I’m being polite. Really, I am. I’m on my best behavior and am trying to act nice for the guests. My normal personality is actually screaming inside this false, good-humored one, begging to get out.

I typically spend my free time killing off characters in my books because I’m just that much of a sadist. I’m currently writing the first in a three-book series that I hope will be one day good enough to read back without laughing. It is, unfortunately, not a comedy. The poor beta readers didn’t know that and applauded me for my hilarious novel. It’s supposed to be a YA thriller. Oh, well…

Oh, yeah, and I’m a teenager.
